Is there an age restriction to becoming a member of GlobalTestMarket?

You must be at least 18 years of age to join OR you must be 14 to 17 years of age and have parental or legal guardian permission to join.

MarketPoints

How much are MarketPoints worth?

The value of MarketPoints is fixed against the U.S. Dollar at five (5) cents per MarketPoint.

How many MarketPoints will I earn for participating in online surveys?

Each invitation will tell you how many MarketPoints you will earn for completing the online survey, or for participating but not qualifying for it. The number of points will vary depending on two factors: (1) the urgency of the online survey -- more urgent surveys will offer higher incentives, and (2) the length of the online survey. The more time required on your part, the larger the number of MarketPoints awarded.

How do I redeem my MarketPoints?

Log in to your account.
Click on 'MarketPoints' in the top navigation bar.
Click the 'Redeem' button. Confirm that your mailing address is correct.
(Please allow 4-6 weeks from the date of redemption for your check to arrive if you live within the United States, or 6-8 weeks if you live outside of the U.S.)

How many MarketPoints do I need to redeem for cash?

The minimum number of MarketPoints needed to redeem is 1,000.

If I redeem my MarketPoints how will I get my money?

Once you redeem your MarketPoints we will mail you a check in your local currency, when available. While we try our best to provide checks that are convenient to you, we cannot print checks in some currencies, such as currencies in Lithuania, Mexico, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine. If we cannot pay you in your local currency, we will send you a check in U.S. dollars.

Why does GlobalTestMarket use MarketPoints instead of money?

Our community consists of members from all around the world, and therefore we need to use a currency that everyone can use. However, when you redeem your MarketPoints, you will receive a check in your local currency (see question above for more information).

How often is my MarketPoints information updated?

Unless stated otherwise in the invite, MarketPoints are updated instantly after you complete an online survey. If this is not the case, please wait a few moments and then refresh the page.

SurveyShuttle

Will SurveyShuttle appear every time I finish an online survey?

No, SurveyShuttle will only appear if there is another online survey available that you're qualified to take.

How does taking the SurveyShuttle increase my chances of earning MarketPoints?

SurveyShuttle increases your chances of earning MarketPoints because it invites you to participate in surveys that you may not have otherwise been invited to join.

Do I have to take the SurveyShuttle each time it appears? Am I penalized if I do not take the SurveyShuttle to another online survey?

Using SurveyShuttle is not a requirement. You will never be penalized for deciding not to take another survey.

How can I update my registration information?

To change your registration information, you must first log in, then select "My Details" and update your information.

Online surveys

What is the process for taking online surveys?

Surveys are sent by email and can be taken at your leisure. All you need is a computer and Internet access. On average, it takes 15 minutes to complete an online survey.

How can I receive more online surveys?

The best way to receive more online surveys is to complete all of your profile surveys on the Survey page of your account, which you can access by logging in. The status of each profile survey is displayed along with the date of the last update. Keeping these profiles complete and up to date will result in more online survey invitations for you.

Please be aware the number of online surveys each participant will receive in any given month varies significantly from person to person. The number of online surveys you will receive is directly related to the demographic our clients are searching for.

Refer a friend

Do I earn anything for referring a friend?

You will earn 20 MarketPoints every time you refer a friend. We will credit your account as soon as the person you have referred completes an online survey for the first time.

How do I track my referrals?

Log in to your account.
Click on 'MarketPoints' on top navigation bar.
The bottom table indicates your friend's email address and whether:

- An email was sent
- Your friend has registered
- Your friend took their first survey
- You were awarded MarketPoints

Affiliates

How do I become a GlobalTestMarket Affiliate?

Visit the GlobalTestMarket Affiliate page and fill out a quick and easy application. A customer service representative will then provide you with the necessary registration and tracking links, as well as GlobalTestMarket banners for you to start your campaign.

What if I've forgotten my Partner ID?

If you've forgotten your Partner ID, simply visit the 'Contact Us' page of the GlobalTestMarket website, select the 'Affiliates' option under "My inquiry relates to', include the name on your account, the email address you registered with and the name of your website. Then, we will write back with your Partner ID.

How do I earn money in the GlobalTestMarket Affiliate Program?

For every person you refer to GlobalTestMarket via one of the registration links we provide you, we will pay you a set fee. For instance, if that fee is $1 and 50 people come to register at GlobalTestMarket from a banner on your website, you will receive $50.

How much can I earn for referrals?

The amount varies greatly and we remain very competitive within the industry. There is no limit to your earning potential and we have had some of the same recruiters for over six years. The rate you are provided is largely dependent on the quality of the information you provide as well as the information we find on your website. Furthermore, if you are able to recruit in a country for which we have a need, you will be rewarded accordingly.

How do I refer people to become GlobalTestMarket members?

Once approved as an Affiliate, you will receive further instructions regarding how to use banners and links to refer your members and website visitors.

Can I modify the banners on this website?

No, GlobalTestMarket requires that you do not modify the banners or any advertising content found on this site.

How am I paid?

When you become a GlobalTestMarket Affiliate, you are given access to a portal whereby you can track all of your referrals. Once your account reaches $50 USD, you can redeem the amount and GlobalTestMarket will mail you a check in your local currency.

Why should I use my Tracking Portal?

Tracking Portals are a means for affiliates to monitor their account activity: monthly and total registrations, accumulated funds and process payments. With the ability to monitor their account activity 24x7x365, they can made quick and informed decisions about how better to recruit.

In my tracking portal, what do I find in 'Summary of account'?

This is your affiliate profile and contains all the information you provided upon registration. This identifies where and to whom the checks will be delivered. If you need to change any part of your profile, please contact us directly at affiliate@gmi-mr.com. Also listed here is the Overview of Account Status, which may include the number of registered panelists, total number of invites and total amount of surveys completed. For a screenshot, see the example below.

In my tracking portal, what do I find in 'Show history'?

Here you will find your monthly new sign-ups and earnings. In addition, you will find total earned-to-date, paid-to-date and balance. By selecting the "previous" and "next" month tab, you can find other monthly summaries. This page is updated once per day. For a live count of registrations please view the double opt-in stats page.

In my tracking portal, what do I find in 'Show demographics'?

We provide these detailed statistics on the total members you enrolled. This information is for your own benefit to determine the make-up of your referrals.

In my tracking portal, what are 'double opt-in stats'?

This informs you how your campaign is progressing by monitoring the number of members who have double opted-in through your account. To explain, double opt-in registration is a two-step process. The first step occurs when you register and receive an email congratulating you. (This is the single opt-in.) To complete the registration, you must select the link in that email to confirm your registration (this is the double opt-in process). This ensures your members truly want to register and that it was not an error. This is particularly important as Affiliates are paid only for members that double opt-in. As an example, if 100 people started the registration process (single opt-in) but only 50 confirmed (double opt-in), the double opt-in rate would be 50% and you would only get paid for 50 sign-ups. If many of your members are not double opting-in, you may wish to alter your campaign for better results.

In my tracking portal, what does 'Request payment' do?

Once a minimum of $50 has been accumulated in your account, you may request a payment. Please click the "Request Payment" button. You will see instructions asking you to send an invoice to affiliate@gmi-mr.com with all the necessary account details.

This should include:

  • Today's Date
  • Company name
  • Personal first and last name
  • Partner ID
  • Mailing address
  • Period of invoice (ex. March 1st - June 30th, 2005)
  • Total referrals
  • Total amount of invoice in USD.

Upon sending us an invoice, you should receive a payment within 4-6 weeks. For easier processing, please send us the invoice at the end of the month.

Is GlobalTestMarket a secure site?

What exactly will GlobalTestMarket do with the data?

We will calculate aggregate results by combining your responses with those provided by other members who have also completed the online survey. The data is stored in a database that can be analyzed by our clients in a way that always conceals your individual identity. Enter your email address.
